DAB's "Perspectives" Exhibition 31 July - 29 August

July 31, 2021

DABsters have once again demonstrated their creativity with DAB’s latest exhibition theme of “Perspectives”. DAB’s gallery is full of beautiful, quirky, and thought-provoking artworks including paintings, glass work, pottery, jewellery, drawings, prints, mosaics, sculptures, and items made with wool and plant fibres, all reflecting a wide range of perspectives on art and life.

Our urban sketchers have illustrated how we may all be looking at the same building or scene, but we perceive it in very different ways. DAB's painters have captured different aspects and perspectives of subjects, from close up to panoramic viewpoints to different angles, sometimes with unexpected colours for familiar items. Several of our artists have explored the concept of home, for humans and for wildlife, and how the perspective can shift with a change of position, time or person/animal’s point of view.

The displayed artworks represent many worldviews, attitudes, and approaches – come and visit DAB gallery and spend some time exploring our “Perspectives”.

DAB's "Perspectives" 31 July until 28 August.

DAB Gallery is open 10 am – 2 pm Monday to Saturday, and is located at 11 Mill Street, Mossman.

We look forward to seeing you at DAB.
